The hotel had a charming vibe with a cozy room, but the bed felt quite hard for my liking. Nearby walking tours were fantastic for exploring Paris.

Cramped rooms with limited amenities left something to be desired, especially considering the price. The breakfast suffered from poor quality, with old bread and odd-tasting cheese and ham. Additionally, the connection through a locked lobby to another room proved frustrating when it delayed access after a tiring day.

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome at Hotel Pavillon Bastille. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially Yan at reception who provided excellent recommendations for exploring nearby attractions. The location was just steps from the lively Place de la Bastille.

The central location made it easy to explore the city, just a short walk to the metro. The twin room was spacious and provided a peaceful night's sleep, complemented by high-quality linen. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, featuring fresh croissants and pastries that started each day on a high note. Unfortunately, the noise from nearby streets could be bothersome at times, and the bathroom showed signs of wear, which detracted slightly from the overall experience.

We had a lovely stay visiting nearby Le Prince Albert Wagram, which felt family-friendly with parks for the kids to play and our small dog to enjoy. The staff really stood out, especially when they helped us arrange a taxi during a hectic rail strike.
